kept trying to think of a way to install my Auralex bass traps without damaging the wall - i have the adhesive but it’s basically permanent and we’re renting currently. then i thought if i could install really lightweight corner shelves the bass traps could rest on those! using lightweight basswood so hopefully the sonic/acoustic effect is negligible. could be a great DIY solution for your home theatre or studio! barely know what i’m doing wood-wise but thankfully @atelier.la.vieille.grange helped me out! #basstraps #diy #homestudio #hometheater

not an affiliated post or anything, but this is the fuzz i use for gigs and i just saw it’s only $30 bucks right now! i thought it was a steal at $49 but good god, this is almost half off of that. if you need a fuzz pedal and aren’t trying to spend a lot of money OR pedal board realty, then get the Rusty Fuzz! it’s really dynamic from full on velcro-riffage to a subtle overdrive via rolling back the volume knob on your guitar. i’ve had Big Muffs before and they’re great for rhythm work, but the Fuzz Face type pedals are better overall and especially at lead work. pair it with an octaver for true White Stripes-esque mayhem. #effectspedals #fuzzguitar #fuzzface
